Bandiera per tutti gli impieghi, istituita da una legge del 22 ottobre 1980 al raggiungimento dell’autogoverno, in uso dal primo gennaio 1981. "(...)The width of the flag bears the ratio to its length of 1.0 to 1.6. The diameter of the moon bears the ratio to the width of the flag of 0.6 to 1.0. The distance from the side of the flag nearest the mast or staff to the center of the moon bears the ratio to the width of 0.7 to 1.0. The distances from the top and bottom of the flag to the center of the moon are equal". Il campo azzurro (cielo azzurro) – non ben definito e perciò si presta a differenti tonalità - è associato al raggiungimento dell’autogoverno e il disco giallo (giallo-oro) (leggermente decentrato verso sinistra, seguendo una linea immaginaria ed occupare 1/4 della lunghezza ed avere un diametro di 6/10 dell’altezza della bandiera) rappresenta la luna piena, simbolo di pace e tranquillità, unità e destino. Il plenilunio rappresenta per gli isolani il periodo più propizio per le loro attività. Autore: Blau Skebong. Proporzioni 5:8.
